Built in 1962 as the terminal of the Trans World Airlines airline at the John F. Kennedy airport in New York, and acquired in 2001 by American Airlines, this emblematic futuristic air building ended up abandoned to its fate, until proposals began in 2011 to transform it into a luxurious hotel.
